A Murphy bed solves that trade-off directly. We build every wall bed with a gas-strut or spring-assisted lift mechanism, so it raises and lowers smoothly with one hand — even fully made up with a mattress and bedding — and stays securely locked in either position. Bed cabinets are frequently paired with a built-in desk, bookcase or wardrobe tower on either side, turning the whole wall into one cohesive piece of furniture instead of an obvious bed frame bolted to the wall. This is a category most Fraser Valley cabinetry and closet companies simply don't offer, because it calls for different engineering than a standard closet or pantry build — it's a specialty of ours, not an afterthought.
